Capitalizing the Interactive Media – Telenor Easy Paisa

easypaisa logo Capitalizing the Interactive Media – Telenor Easy Paisa
Connectivity is the language of time. From workplaces to home dealings, one wants to enjoy absolute connectivity. But the connectivity we want to talk about is in terms of access and in terms of staying connected with the telecom operators of your choice!

How delightful it is to ask your service provider about which celebrity they are planning to sign in future, telling them that their service needs a service, asking about their whereabouts, recruitment and just about everything! That’s what these social networking websites have done to the traditional concepts of sales and marketing.

Telenor’s easypaisa is one service which has come to the ground level and helped change its customers’ life by providing him ease and freedom in life. The brand manifested itself through a common man in several of its ads which have been actively promoted on mediums such as Facebook and Youtube.

For easypaisa platforms on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and online competitions are sources of domestic and global connectivity. A further manifestation of easypaisa’s commitment to this revolutionary medium is its tradition of regular Events like ‘Bloggers Meet-up’ which have become a regular tradition in many cities of the country and Telenor stands as one of the biggest organizers of such events.

Which is Best Cellular Company of Pakistan?

ProPakistani.com conducted a survey asking its visitors to give feedback on what they think is the best cellular company of Pakistan.polls Which is Best Cellular Company of Pakistan?

Survey form was displayed to all visitors of ProPakistani.com and remained active for 30 days. Poll widget which bounds anyone to re-cast his vote from same IP received total of 1611 votes in the specified time.

Ufone has been surprisingly voted as the best cellular company of Pakistan with total of 608 votes, which are 38 percent of total votes. That’s remarkable, in my opinion that’s due to the simple pricing; little number of packages and their SMS bundles did the trick in getting popularity amongst the consumers.

Telenor managed to set at second slot with total of 286 (18 percent) votes. Again I think their SMS bundles worked for Telenor, their Rs. 1 package is also popular amongst the masses.

Warid remained at third position with very little margin, and got 274 votes that’s just 12 votes behind Telenor.

Four in Five Believe Internet Access a Fundamental Right

In a study conducted by the BBC World Service, four in five respondents said they believe web access is a fundamental right.

27,000 people from 26 countries were surveyed. 78 percent of Internet users believed the Web gave them greater freedom, while nine in 10 said it was a good place to learn.

Almost 50 percent of those who used the Internet said they most valued the ability to find information. Over 30 percent valued the ability to interact and communicate with others while 12 percent saw it as a source for entertainment.

Almost 50 percent of those who used the Internet said they most valued the ability to find information. Over 30 percent valued the ability to interact and communicate with others while 12 percent saw it as a source for entertainment.

Of the areas of concern, the poll found that fraud was the greatest worry, ahead of violent and explicit content and threats to privacy.

LG’s Windows Phone 7 Series unveiled

The Engadget Show is never short of surprises and pleasant announcements. Today’s Engadget Show was no different. Microsoft’s Aaron Woodman appeared at the show and he was not alone. He brought LG’s first Windows Phone 7 Series device with him, the pre-production prototype anyway. More on the Windows Phone 7 after the jump.

Here is what is known of LG’s first WM7 device:

  • QWERTY Keyboard.
  • 5 MP camera with flash.
  • Headphone jack.
  • A touch thicker than iPhone or Nexus One.
  • Dedicated camera, volume control and power buttons.

Looking at the device, the thought that immediately strikes my mind is about the small nature of the screen size. The screen is a touch smaller to my liking and it won’t be able to do justice to the sexy looking UI of Windows Phone 7. What’s your thinking regarding the phone which is scheduled to arrive in September?

Stealing Content Can Go Ugly

People in Pakistan are getting aware of copyrights, either by softly spoken advises or otherwise through legal ways.
We had reported this incident of FIA raiding mag4you.com offices and picking their admins.
Here is a new case under prosecution, and people those uploaded pirated music are in tough situation.
This may mark an end of copyright violation, particularly by those large portals. We have mentioned few in past, and there are others in line for a lawsuit, including ApniIsp and FunMaza.
On one side, there are people saying to teach the law first instead of implementing it right away because of influential hands, however, there is no doubt that copyright violators are no kids – they earn good bucks with this pirated content and ultimately causing financial loss to the legitimate owner.
